Content and quality
How we earn your trust.
A study tool for a high-stakes exam should show its working. This page sets out what we will publish before you’re asked to rely on ClintixPro for USMLE, and what we can and can’t stand behind today. It is in development.
Our commitment
What we’ll publish here first.
- How practice questions and explanations are produced, and which reference sources they draw on.
- Who reviews the clinical content, and how.
- How we test the accuracy of explanations, and what we found, including what went wrong.
- How the readiness score is calculated, and how well it tracks real exam results.
Until then these stay blank rather than describing a process that doesn’t exist. When one does, it will be described here in plain words.
Where things stand
No USMLE results yet.
ClintixPro for USMLE has no USMLE customers yet. We haven’t tested how accurate its explanations are, whether the review helps candidates, or how well the readiness score tracks real USMLE results, and we would want that done before asking anyone to rely on it.
ClintixPro already helps Australian doctors prepare for their specialty exams. That experience shapes how we build, but it isn’t evidence about this exam.
AI, and its limits
It can be wrong.
Questions, explanations, takeaways and suggestions are produced with AI built specifically for the USMLE, so they are scoped to Step 1 and Step 2 CK rather than to medicine in general. Like any tool that explains medicine, it can be confidently wrong. That’s why the workflow is designed so you can see the reasoning, correct what’s wrong, and keep your own version.
We won’t present AI output as clinically reviewed unless it has been, and we’ll say who did it.
What we won’t claim
No promises about the exam.
- No pass guarantees or promised score improvements. The readiness score is an estimate, shown with its limits.
- No claim that practice here is equivalent to the real exam.
- No testimonials until there are real ones from real users, with their permission.
- No suggestion that anyone endorses us.
The questions in our examples are original. They were written for this site and aren’t taken from the exam or from any provider.
Independence
