Terms of Service

The terms for ClintixPro for USMLE.

Plain-English terms for using ClintixPro for USMLE. Last updated 26 October 2026. The Service is in development: nothing can be bought yet, and these terms apply from the day plans become available.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

ClintixPro for USMLE is offered by Clintix Pty Ltd (ABN 65 682 026 106), an Australian company based in Torquay, Victoria (“we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and us about your use of this site and of ClintixPro for USMLE (the “Service”).

By creating an account, choosing a plan or otherwise using the Service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

2. The Service, and where it stands today

ClintixPro for USMLE is an adaptive AI tutor, an AI-generated question bank and a review of the questions you miss, for USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK. You can also bring a question you missed in another question bank by uploading a screenshot of it.

It is in development, and nothing can be bought or used yet. What this site says about the Service describes what we intend to offer. Joining the waitlist is free and needs no card. It doesn’t reserve a place, create an account or promise a date, and we use your email only to tell you about ClintixPro for USMLE. What we ask for, and why, is on the waitlist page. To be removed, email hello@clintix.com.

The rest of these terms apply from the day plans become available.

3. Your account

To use the Service you will need an account. You must be at least 18, give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

Keep your login private and don’t share it. You are responsible for what happens on your account, and you should tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.

4. Plans and billing

The plans, what each includes and their prices are on the Pricing page, in US dollars. The Free plan has no charge and needs no card.

Monthly plans are charged each month. Yearly plans are paid once, upfront, for twelve months, and include 3 months free compared with paying monthly. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel, and you authorise us to charge your card for each renewal. Payments are processed by Stripe. We may change prices on reasonable notice.

Introductory offer. 50% off the first 2 months of any monthly plan, for people who subscribe within the first 6 months after access opens. From month 3, the standard monthly price applies and the plan renews until you cancel. Yearly plans are not part of the offer. We will publish the dates on the Pricing page when access opens.

Allowances. Plans include an allowance of credits that resets each billing period, and daily limits that rise with each plan. Unused credits don’t roll over to the next period.

5. Cancelling and refunds

Monthly plans. You can cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of the period you’ve paid for. We generally don’t refund part of a billing period, except where the law requires.

Yearly plans. You can ask for a refund at any time during the year. We refund what you’ve paid less the full monthly price for each month you’ve used, counted from the purchase date, and a part month counts as a full month. Access ends when a refund is made. This is so the yearly saving is for staying the full year.

For example, if you ask for a refund on a Starter yearly plan (US$315) 2 months and 10 days after buying, 3 months count, so we refund US$210: US$315 less 3 × US$35. To ask, email hello@clintix.com.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that can’t be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Using the Service

Please don’t:

  • break the law, or use the Service to help anyone else break it;
  • share your login or let someone else use your account;
  • use the Service during an exam, or in any way that breaks an exam’s rules;
  • scrape, bulk-download or copy the Service’s content, or reverse engineer the Service;
  • upload harmful material, or content you aren’t entitled to use;
  • disrupt the Service or try to get around its limits;
  • pretend to be someone else; or
  • use the Service commercially without our written permission.

7. What you upload

Only upload content you are entitled to use. You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us a limited licence to store and process it so we can provide the Service to you, for example to read a screenshot and explain the question.

We don’t connect to other providers’ products or access their content, and we are not affiliated with any question bank provider. A screenshot you choose to upload is how a question you missed elsewhere comes in.

8. Our content and the AI

We own the Service and its content. You may use it for your own, non-commercial study, under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence.

Explanations, questions and other replies are generated by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Treat them as study aids, and check anything that matters against authoritative sources. Example questions shown on this site were written for the site and are not exam items.

9. Educational use only, and no guarantee

The Service is an educational tool for exam preparation. It is not medical advice, and nothing in it should guide the care of a patient.

We don’t guarantee that using the Service will help you pass an exam or reach any score. The readiness score is an estimate, not a promise, and for the USMLE it has not been checked against real exam results. More on this, and on how to read the score, is on Important information.

USMLE® is a joint program of the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) and the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME). ClintixPro is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

10. Availability and changes to the Service

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change or discontinue it or any part of it. Because it is in development, features may change before and after launch.

11. Our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for anything arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

This does not exclude or limit any liability, or any consumer guarantee, that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

12. Suspending or ending your access

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if there is fraud or non-payment, or where the law requires. You can stop using the Service at any time (see “Cancelling and refunds”).

To have your account and data deleted, email hello@clintix.com.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms; if you don’t, you can cancel.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the courts of Australia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

15. If part of these terms doesn’t apply

If a part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, it is limited or removed only as far as necessary, and the rest stays in effect.
